Roof Rack Fittings:

Complimentary 3-month and annual check-up:

After your initial fitting we recommend coming back to us for a no charge check up on your roof racks. Roof racks can settle after a few weeks of use and it is the manufacturers recommendation to regularly check, maintain, and tighten components as needed.

We offer a complete wrap around service which covers you from fitting right through to changing roof racks or accessories to different vehicles and we are more than happy to run you through how to check, maintain and tighten your roof racks and accessories yourself for when you can’t make it in.

Our roof rack technicians are the best in the business and are more than happy to help with maintenance of your roof racks.
 

Mobile Roof Rack Fittings:

  • Subject to availability.

  • Not available in Waikato, Taupo or Wellington.

Ordering online:

Delivery and Freight:

  • Orders under $500: freight is only $9.95 on accessories and roof racks under $500
  • Orders $500 and over: FREE freight! (excludes roof boxes, platforms, tents and bulky items)
  • Roof boxes, tents, platforms and bulky items: $75 (delivery is to the nearest freight depot only - we cannot ship directly to a residential address as these need to be signed for on pick up)
  • Collect in store: FREE, just let us know which store location you would like to pick up from on your order details!


When we receive your order, we will start processing it, we expect that most products are in stock and would be on its way to you within 24 hours (excluding weekend and public holidays). We expect most products will arrive within three to five days for small items and five to 10 days for roof boxes, tents, platforms and bulky items.
If the product is temporarily out of stock, we will be in touch within 24 hours (excluding weekend and public holidays) to confirm the expected delivery date.  If this date is unacceptable to you, then a full refund will be issued at your request.
If the product is for any reason unavailable, then we will be in touch within 24 hours (excluding weekend and public holidays) to confirm whether a change of product can be arranged to your satisfaction. If this change is unacceptable to you, then a full refund will be issued at your request.
A signature will be required to accept delivery of the goods, so someone will need to be there to accept the delivery. Deliveries are normally Monday to Friday and exclude public holidays.

If your goods are damaged or don’t show up?

If your goods are damaged when they arrive, DO NOT ACCEPT THEM, return them to sender with the courier immediately. Please then contact us on 07 850 1002 and we will get it sorted.

If your goods fail to arrive within the expected time frames give us a call and we will sort it out.  If they have gone missing, the sooner we know the sooner we will be able to sort it.

Privacy Policy:

Be rest assured, we will not pass your e-mail on to anyone that is not within the Canoe & Kayak group.
We do not sell, trade or barter databases with anyone.
Should you decide you no longer wish to receive our e-mails, please go to the unsubscribe link on the e-mail or reply stating you would like to unsubscribe.


Warranties:


All of the products we sell have a warranty, most are one year or more. The warranty covers the product being used as it is designed and intended for.
If you have a problem with the product, please contact us immediately and we will make every effort to sort it out to your satisfaction.


The steps we take are as follows.


1) arrange with you to return the goods to the Roof Rack Centre or the manufacturer.
2) confirm with you the claim is accepted or the reasons why it might not be and discuss it.
3) if the claim is accepted, come up with a plan to repair or replace the product.
4)  repair or replace it and send it back to you.
5) contact you to ensure you have the product and everything is sorted to your satisfaction.


Please note we are happy to reimburse you any reasonable freight costs you may incur in returning a warranty product bought on the Roof Rack Centre website. But we do ask you to advise us in advance that you are returning the product and to get our approval of the return freight costs. No reimbursement for freight can be made unless this prior approval is gained.
If you have bought it through one of our Roof Rack Centres or through a Roof Rack Centre Agency, please contact them directly.

Manufacturers Extended Warranties:


Some of our manufacturers have extended warranties and these are noted on each brand information page on the website. To activate these extended warranties, you must complete the manufacturers online form or warranty card supplied with the product at the time of sale/delivery and return the card to the manufacturer as requested.
Please note that outside the normal warranties, you can still deal with the Roof Rack Centre if you have any problems with any products bought through us. We are well known for going out of our way to ensure customers get a fair deal and are looked after.
Extended warranties are issued by the manufacturer and not by the Roof Rack Centre and hence the responsibility to honour these extended warranties is up to the manufacturer alone.
